Linton Francois, MA
LMHC-D (NY), LPC (NJ)
Founder & Clinical Director
I was always told I should be a counselor. People often told me that talking to me put them at ease; that it felt easy to open up, even about things they rarely shared with others. That gift for connection stayed with me throughout my life, shaping the way I showed up for others, long before I officially became a therapist. In 2000, I joined the U.S. Army, a decision that would shape the next two decades of my life. A year later, the world changed after 9/11, and I was honored to serve in various roles across the Middle East and the Pacific. Over my 20-year military career, I held leadership positions in logistics, communications, training, recruiting, and diversity initiatives, often working on programs at some of our nation's most vital defense agencies. While serving, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2019. After retiring from the Army, I continued my path of helping others by completing a Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at NYU Steinhardt in 2021. As a Black man, immigrant, and veteran, I've witnessed the challenges many marginalized communities face. During my service, some of my proudest moments involved standing up against sexual harassment, bullying, and racial discrimination. Whether it was supporting fellow soldiers through grief, helping young adults find their path out of unstable environments, or resolving workplace microaggressions before they escalated, I always found fulfillment in advocating for others and creating space for them to feel heard and valued. Today, I work with adults and couples, providing a safe, inclusive space rooted in empathy and respect. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Solution-Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Counseling, modalities that emphasize strengths, practical change, and authentic human connection. I specialize in helping clients work through depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. While I formally began my career and passion as a mental health counselor in 2021, I've spent over 25 years supporting people through life's highs and lows, and I hope to continue this work for many more to come.

Andrew Quinn, JD
MHC-LP (NY)
Counselor
I am a graduate of NYU with an MA in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling. Additionally, I hold a law degree from Yale Law School, as well as a BA in music, specializing in musicology with voice as my principal instrument, and a BA history from the University of Michigan, specializing in US economic, political and social history. I have also studied comparative philosophy, including Western, Eastern, and African ways of knowing. I practiced as an attorney for many years, and gained experience, first with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., as an Earl Warren Scholar, and later, as a specialist in asset management law, practicing with a number of leading corporate law firms and hedge funds. In the aggregate, these settings afforded me a rare perspective on global commerce, the concentration of wealth, the deep architecture of power, and the way in which these structures are inseparably and densely entangled with questions of mental health and wellness, particularly for historically disadvantaged communities. With experience working alongside an exceptionally diverse range of individuals, I integrate client-centered, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and social-contextual approaches to adapt to your moment-to-moment needs. In our collaboration, your dignity will be honored, your vulnerability will be appreciated, your courage will be acknowledged, and your pain will be met with empathy and care. I have an abiding faith in your innate capacity to heal, to flourish, and to shape the way in which you are being shaped. The movement forward is the return to yourself. Your community. Your life.

Charmain Falode, MA
MHC-LP (NY)
Counselor
Hi there! Thanks for clicking on my bio. My name is Charmain. I am a graduate of Alfred University with a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, as well as a BSc in Psychology from The University of East London, United Kingdom. Born and bred in South London, I now call Brooklyn home. My journey began as a performing artist with an extensive background in film, classical ballet, modern dance, television, voice-over, comedic writing and theatre. I have performed in numerous stage productions in America and the United Kingdom. I have also worked as a senior-level corporate Executive Assistant within the financial sector. Through this plethora of work experience, my focus and alignment felt "positive and organic" within the field of mental health counseling and wellness. This desire led to my experience working with juvenile offenders with mental health issues, alongside adults and couples. I utilize a humanistic approach with a strong focus on cognitive behavioral therapy, with a belief that one day all individuals know that mental health wellness is a given right and accessible to all. When life becomes challenging, we can experience feelings like despair, hopelessness, anxiety, and uncertainty. Many of these emotions can bring up a sense of fear and a lack of direction. These emotions often leave people asking, "Will I ever feel whole or better again? Do I even belong?" Therapy can help you navigate through difficult times and transitions with excellent results. My work with clients focuses on building resilience and self-compassion in a judgment-free zone.

Dr. Amanda Jones, PhD
MHC-LP (NY), LCMHCA (NC)
Counselor
Over the past eight years, I have worked across a variety of clinical settings serving individuals navigating complex mental health concerns, trauma, and systemic barriers. My professional experiences have included community mental health agencies, correctional settings, rehabilitation-focused work, private practice, and higher education. Much of my clinical approach focuses on helping individuals learn how to live meaningful and fulfilling lives despite difficult circumstances, trauma, disability, or adversity. I believe counseling should empower people to recognize their resilience, rediscover their strengths, and build lives grounded in purpose, healing, and hope. Whether I am working with clients, mentoring students, or conducting research, my goal is always the same: to create spaces where people feel supported, empowered, and capable of healing while navigating the realities of their lived experiences.

William "Amy" Mann, MA
MHC-LP (NY)
Counselor
Trans-American woman, seeking to assist others in their navigation of the modern American landscape through the practice of psychotherapy, seeking to accomplish this goal through application of a CBT/EFT orientation. Coming from a previous position in a facility treating those with HIV/AIDS, providing psychotherapy for those from minority, intersectional backgrounds with terminal conditions, addictions, and trauma. Each client deserves a therapist who is confident in their ability to provide support and care, but who can also admit their mistakes, their habits, and who can responsibly accept and address suggestions and confrontation. I offer genuine, empathetic care, while maintaining a grounded perspective. Helping individuals identify the components of their current circumstances, including the emotional experience, so that as a team we may identify how these parts interact and what may need to be done. Determining together how you may accomplish what needs to be done. I invite my clients to set the tone and pace that best facilitates the outcomes they are seeking from treatment.
